Hawaii is Beautiful!
A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words
Friday June 10
Today we spent the morning getting our bearings and exploring Waikiki Beach. On our walk we saw the most interesting trees and beautiful flowers. We spent a few hours at the beach swimming, snorkeling, and walking along the shoreline. We came back to the AirBnB to let the kids nap and have a little downtime. We enjoyed a delicious dinner, Dole whip for dessert, and a sunset walk along the beach. The night ended with a fireworks show! Enjoy the plethora of pictures!

The plants and flowers here are stunning. It’s truly a tropical paradise.

My dinner of butter garlic shrimp
It was so delicious I cleaned my plate.
Dave tried Loco Moco which is a traditional Hawaiian dish of rice, hamburger, and egg on top. The boys had kimchee fried rice.
As we ate dinner we looked up to see a double rainbow! It was actually the second time we’d seen a rainbow today. I don’t think I’ve every seen three rainbows in one day before…SO COOL
Dessert was pineapple and raspberry Dole whip! As we were leaving Josh accidentally missed the doorway and walked straight into the glass wall. The woman working there was so kind. She replaced the Dole whip he dropped, gave him a bag of ice and a towel. Josh is ok, just a little stunned and embarrassed.
Family walk on the beach at sunset
After the sun went down we watched fireworks! We all loved it! I was surprised Liam wasn’t scared, he kept smiling and saying “whoa!”
