Time in Texas
Friends & Food This Memorial Day Weekend in Texas has been really special. We’ve had lots of opportunities to connect with old friends. It’s been such a treasure to pick up where we left off. We’re visiting on the heels of the mass school shooting in Uvalde which has definitely affected the hearts of people everywhere, but particularly our friends here who are living not too far away from where the tragedy happened. We had the opportunity to share communion at church on Sunday about how God is our strength even when we are weak. It felt very appropriate for this time in our world and life. On Memorial Day we headed up to Austin to cheer on our friend Esteban (Es-TEH-ban) who was competing in a triathlon. This is his 6th triathlon and he’s also an Iron Man! It was really fun to be there and cheer him on at the end of his run.
